Patterns for Pirates Layered Shirt

This weekend I thought I’d use up a little  extra fabric (leftover). This is the mint and heather gray using the Patterns for Pirates Layer Me Up T-Shirt pattern.  For me I think I needed it to be a little larger size with solids. The pattern did sew up fairly easily!

I made the three quarter sleeve so that I would feel comfortable wearing mine around more of the year.  I actually put it on yesterday when the temperature got down below 80 because of a storm that came through.  We keep our house a little colder also, so it’s perfect for around the house.  – And around the house I was less conscious of the need for a little bigger size. It was definitely comfy.  I’ll be adding the top to my store soon in solids and color block.

The sleeve length, length of the top, and even the style has options. The top can be made as a layered t-shirt like this one or a standard tank top. I’m thinking I should try the tank top with lace for the bottom hem? That’s definitely on my to do list! I wonder how a red tank with black lace would look?
